If you invoice with software — and your online store does — then yes. The firm dates are: companies from 1 January 2027 and self-employed workers from 1 July 2027. Companies under the SII and the chartered territories (TicketBAI) are out of scope, and Word/Excel without macros does not count as an invoicing system according to the AEAT. Using non-compliant invoicing software carries a fine of €50,000 per fiscal year. It is not a symbolic penalty: it is the reason to get this solved before December 2026.
